
Carla Fernández is a fashion brand based in Mexico City, inspired by the country's geometric and textile richness. The brand has gained international recognition for its extraordinary approach to preserving the rich cultural heritage of the indigenous communities of Mexico, transforming it into contemporary clothing, textiles and accessories.

Carla Fernández was born in 1973, in Saltillo, Coahuila. In 2013 she was one of the 11 international winners of the Prince Clause Award, based in Amsterdam, which recognizes artists whose cultural actions have a positive impact on the development of their communities.
She has had solo exhibitions at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston; Jumex Museum in Mexico City; Heath Ceramics in San Francisco; SIFA The O.P.E.N. Festival in Singapore; and collective shows at the MAD Museum in New York; Iturbide Palace and Amparo Museum in Mexico City, among others.
