Dolce Utopía

Dolce Utopia is a porcelain workshop located in Zapopan, Jalisco. They work on the creation of unique, utilitarian pieces, completely handmade and from a sustainable business model. Its products evoke both traditional pieces and industrial products made through traditional methods.

Dolce Utopia is developed from the Project_Quotes (2013), consisting of quotes from artists, curators and critics on different themes in relation to the art world. Dolce Utopia is the third piece derived from Proyecto_Quotes.

It begins in early 2014 and materializes in mid-2015 as a porcelain workshop, located in the heart of Zapopan. It is a socially committed artistic project and a business proposal that criticizes mass production, considering that currently manufacturing and marketing processes cause costs to rise exponentially and affect artisanal production.

Dolce Utopia collaterally creates the possibility of being self-sufficient with the production of objects made individually and independently.

Dolce Utopia does not compete, it proposes, works and shares.
