Beatriz Breña de la Rosa has a degree in English literature from the Facultad de filosofía y letras of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
Towards 1990 the Mexican painter and sculptor Ana Rosenszweig created an innovative line of cotton textiles and ribbons, which she unveiled at Bazaar Sábado.
In mid-2000 Ana had to leave the country and Beatriz took her place. Since then she has dedicated herself to express her sensitivity in the line of crafts she manufactures.
Throughout her life she was interested in being in contact with various cultural and artistic expressions of Mexico, and that is how she came to Bazaar Sábado in mid-2000.
Her designs are a free recreation of how indigenous groups from different parts of Mexico decorate their party dresses with ribbons.
