Javier Servin Cerámica has an integral process since it begins with the investigation of materials and their extraction from the mines, as well as with the preparation of pastes and enamels.
From there the pieces take shape in the artisanal lathe and in plaster casts to go through a grinding and polishing process where imperfections are eliminated. Then, during drying, moisture is completely removed.
Once ready the pieces go to the decoration process. First a grid is made that will serve as a guide to the decorating masters who capture different shapes and patterns following the style that Javier Servin has developed over the years to fill them with color.
Once the piece is finished the baking process continues, which lasts approximately 7 hours, reaching a temperature of 2300°F. During this process its pieces acquire the relief and resistance that characterizes them, as well as the glaze of the enamels, in addition to being free of any metal that could be harmful to health.
