It was back in 1965 when Julieta Olmos started to trade the traditional ceramics from the town of Tonalá. Her son founded a workshop in alliance with local craftsmen of that area to elaborate the pieces that they bring each saturday to the Bazaar. This pottery is made and decorated by hand with traditional patterns and designs in their workshop located in Texcoco. Since this ceramic is high fired up to 1300º C, San German pottery is lead free.
