Amandina is a Mexican jewelry brand specializing in unique and unrepeatable pieces born from the fusion of filigree handicraft work and an avant-garde vision that seeks to redefine the concept of beauty within Mexican jewelry.
Amandina's commitment is to rescue the traditions by treating them from a contemporary point of view so that the impeccable craftsmanship of its founders and team of Yucatecan artisans can be shown around the world .
Georgina Duarte and Joana Valdez met when they studied design in 2006. The tendency they shared, not to wear jewelry unless it was exactly what they had in mind, combined with the influence of a strong jewel tradition of their city –Mérida–, led them to create Amandina in 2009.
Soon important publications began to write about the brand and stores in Mexico, Europe and the United States made their first orders. Their attention to detail, commitment to fair trade and innovation are the main values of Amandina, which today has eight collections sold on four continents.
